Health Coverage
All PROTEUS employees and their families are eligible to participate in our company-paid medical, vision, and prescription plans. Our comprehensive program provides coverage through a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) which allows the employee the ability to choose the care provider without a referral. Employees may also access services from non-preferred physicians and other health care practitioners for a reasonable out of pocket cost.

Dental Insurance
All PROTEUS employees and their families are eligible to participate in the company-paid dental insurance plan.  Participants have access to the extensive list of in-network and out-of-network dentists.  The plan provides comprehensive coverage for preventative, basic/major restorative, and orthodontia services.

Flexible Spending Accounts:
PROTEUS provides employees the opportunity to tax defer monies into a medical/dental care flexible saving account to assist in reducing the out-of-pocket medical/dental expenses incurred over the course of the year. Eligible expenses include those incurred by the employee as well as their family members. PROTEUS also provides employees the opportunity to participate in a company-funded dependent care plan which assists the employee in affording care for children and elderly dependents.

Paid Leave
PROTEUS employees receive paid time off for vacation, short-term illnesses, and holidays. Employees are encouraged to use their vacation to rest, relax, and pursue personal interests.  Sick leave may be used for his/her own illness or to care for an ill dependent. Family leave is provided to employees upon marriage, the birth/adoption of a child, or the death of an immediate family member. Military leave is granted when required and a pay differential is provided.

The disability insurance coverage includes both short-term and long-term disability.  Employees may purchase short-term disability insurance over and above the group coverage.

401k Plan:
PROTEUS is committed to ensuring its employees save towards their retirement.  Upon joining the PROTEUS team, employees are immediately eligible to enroll in the 401k Retirement Plan.  This plan provides the employee the ability to contribute up to the IRS maximum on a tax deferred basis as well as receive the company match. All contributions are 100% vested and an extensive choice of investment funds is available.

Mentor - Protégé Program
PROTEUS offers a Mentor-Protégé program through which senior technical employees mentor those more junior in knowledge and/or experience. The sharing of knowledge and guidance on career development are provided in formal and informal settings.  Lunchtime learning sessions are held on a regular basis.

Technical Training Coursework / Tuition Reimbursement:
PROTEUS strongly encourages continued individual professional growth. In an effort to achieve this, the company pays for ongoing technical training seminars which are pertinent to the employee’s current and anticipated future responsibilities. In addition, PROTEUS fully supports and encourages employees to continue their formal education. The company provides reimbursement of tuition, books, and fees related to degreed coursework that is job related.

Association Memberships:
All PROTEUS employees are encouraged to be an active participant in a professional association affiliated with their chosen field.  PROTEUS pays the annual association membership fee on behalf of the employee.

Legal and Financial Counseling:
PROTEUS supports employees in their efforts to handle their personal financial and legal affairs on an ongoing basis.  The company provides each employee with an annual stipend that can be used toward the cost of receiving personal legal and financial counseling.

PlusCare™ : Individual Choices

Employee Referral Program:
It is PROTEUS’ quest to hire the best qualified individuals.  All employees are engaged to help achieve this by making referrals from their informal and formal contacts with other professionals. All employees are eligible to receive a bonus for referring candidates to join the team.  The referral bonus is based on the credentials of the candidate and the clearance possessed at the time the resume is submitted.

Auto and Homeowner Insurance Discounts:
