PROTEUS One of Three Finalists out of nearly 70 Nominations
Annapolis Junction, MD, May 3, 2007 — The Technology Council of Maryland/MdBio recognized PROTEUS Corporation, along with AAI Corporation and ARINC, as Finalists for its 2007 Award for Government Contractor of the Year. At the awards ceremony, held in Bethesda with over 900 people in attendance, AAI Corporation of Hunt Valley took the top spot among the 3 companies honored.
Each year, the Technology Council of Maryland/MdBio, the state’s largest technology trade association, honors Maryland technology businesses and the leaders who have made outstanding contributions within their respective categories. The Government Contractor of the Year Award is presented to the company that has proven its ability to provide exemplary service to our nation, as either a prime or subcontractor.
“Selection as one of three finalists of this award reflects PROTEUS’ commitment to the design and development of innovative software and system engineering solutions in support of several critical Intelligence Agency initiatives, as well as continued strong alliances with our contracting partners,” said Karen Locke, spokesperson for PROTEUS. “We are honored to receive this recognition.”
The award recognizes the company that demonstrates, and has achieved growth in revenue and profitability through execution of a clear strategy, developed critical expertise in its service to the government, improved the level of service or cut costs of either the government or a prime contractor, and has demonstrated success in partnering with other contracting firms in the region.
