Annapolis Junction, MD — July 15, 2009

PROTEUS Technologies, an industry leader in providing innovative mission solutions in software and systems engineering for the Intelligence Community, Federal Executive Departments, and Commercial Industries, announced today that Mr. David L. Collier has joined PROTEUS as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Most recently, Mr. Collier served as Chief Financial Officer for Mobile Posse, providing financial and operational leadership for an emerging player in the mobile advertising industry.

"David has broad experience as a chief financial officer in the software industry," said PROTEUS' CEO, Teresa Taylor. "He has a successful track record in developing and leading high-performance finance and business operations teams and brings a great combination of business judgment, fiscal proficiency and integrity to PROTEUS."

David brings nearly 20 of years experience in financial and operations management in the technology sector typically joining early stage companies as a member of the management team. As the head of Finance at Kajeet, a mobile services provider, he managed the creation and operations for all aspects of accounting and finance through the early stage and growth stage of the company. As Vice President of Business Operations for USinternetworking, he led a 25 person team that supported and drove sales, created successful partner relationships, managed profitability and grew the business through acquisitions. Mr. Collier's efforts helped fuel the growth of the technology company raising over $300M in a series of financing events, including venture capital rounds and a successful IPO, as well as assisting the growth of revenue from $0 to $130M within three years.

Prior to joining USinternetworking, David held a variety of operational and financial management positions at ARINC, which he joined in 1990 as Director, Business Planning and Financial Management. He was instrumental in building and leading a large team to manage financials for this $400M global company, providing consulting communication services to US and foreign government agencies and the airline and transportation industries. He successfully implemented rigorous financial controls and cost efficiencies, and ultimately took the reins as financial lead for an ARINC spin-off company focused on providing networking services to the travel industry. He began his career in 1987, and holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors in Business Finance, both from the University of Maryland.

"David brings the expertise and business acumen of a successful CFO, along with the hands-on business experience of a seasoned operations executive," said Taylor. "This strong combination of skills and experience will be extremely valuable to PROTEUS' future growth. We are excited to have David join the leadership team and help drive PROTEUS' success."
