Ms. Karen Locke joined PROTEUS in 2005 as Director, Corporate Communications. She is responsible for the company's comprehensive communications strategy, including leading branding efforts, website strategies, and handling external and internal communications and corporate media relations. She also plays a significant role in the company's engineering process, staffing and business development support efforts.

Previously, Karen was a Senior Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, a global strategy and technology consulting firm. With over 20 years supporting DoD Intelligence Agency programs, Karen's responsibilities have encompassed software development, database development, quality assurance, program management, business development and corporate process improvement initiatives (e.g. CMMI certification support). Karen earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Ohio University and a Masters in Engineering Management from George Washington University.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys running and spending time at the beach, cheering on her two children in their sporting events, playing with her dogs, reading, or just enjoying a beautiful sunset at her home in Southern California.
